Precision Machine doesn’t lean heavily on automation. In fact, they prefer to keep things hands-on. They also take a smart approach to machine investment. “We almost always finance,” Steve explained. “Usually by the time the machine’s here, we’re already cutting when first payment’s coming due. It lines up well.”

One of the clearest signs that they’re doing things right? Most of the Okumas they’ve bought over the years are still on the floor. A couple of early models were finally retired after decades of use, but the rest are still running strong.
